प्यार तुमसे है

तेरी आंखो मे ठहरे समंदर की
चमक को आया, दुआ दे जाने के लिये।
तमन्ना मे इसी, अपने चाँद की
सदियां बीतीं, झलक ईक पाने के लिये।

तेरी सांसो की उस हवा को,
मेहसूस अभी भी कर सकता।
उन सोते हुये पलो को, आया हूँ
मै फिर से जगाने के लिये।

पलको पर बैठा मोती तेरे,
कल रात की सिसकिया सुनाता है।
खोली हैं मैंनें भी अपनी
नम आँखें, दिखाने के लिये।

तेरे चेहरे के नर्माहट
अचानक सी घुल रही है।
ये आईने होते ही है,
अकसर, धोखा दे जाने के लिये।

मैं लम्हों मे तुम्हे हूं ढूंढता,
रुकते नही ये शक्ल दिखाने के लिये।
नही रुकते लब्ज़ भी तेरे होंठो पर
प्यार तुमसे है, कह जाने के लिये।

To the spark of the ocean waiting inside your eyes
I have come to entreat its wellbeing.
In wake of this desire, for my moon,
eons have passed away, to get the slightest glimpse.

The scent of the air of your breath
can be still felt by me.
For those sleeping moments,
I have come to raise them again to life.

The pearl sitting on your lower eyelids,
tells me the story of last nights sobbing.
I too have opened my eyes
to show you the moisture there.

The softness of your face
is suddenly dissolving away.
What other intent do these mirrors have,
than to gull you, whenever possible.

I search you in the labyrinth of memories
they don't even stop by to show their faces.
Neither do words stop on your lips
to tell me - "I love you".
